Does elitism exist in private schools?
No. Elitism is only in the state of mind of many people who have not tried boarding school for their children. Boarding schools are not selective of students as long as you can qualify for the requirements set by the school. In short, anybody is welcome to join boarding school. It doesnt matter what race, religion or beginnings you have. Besides, the requirements set by the school are not very difficult to accomplish since theyre just the same with many other traditional schools. You will be required to take the entrance examination, your high school transcript, pay admission fee, prepare a one page or two-page essay, give recommendations, etc. Boarding schools look like elitist schools because they strictly implement discipline. No one is allowed to report to school without proper uniform, neat and clean, and other disciplinary measures.
