No. In fact using ekey WORLDwide is one of the best ways of protecting privacy. An online bank transaction should serve as an example: Electronic payment transactions will be carried out either on- or off-line, signed on the clients PC by means of a finger scan and sent to the bank computer via a secure internet connection. The bank computer separates the account and order-related data from the biometric data. A special customer number stored on the bank computer will be added instead and the information is forwarded to our system. As the respective bank on the one hand and ekey biometric systems on the other hand are two completely independent entities, data are strictly separated.
