Does eircom eSecurity work over both broadband and dial-up connections?
The eircom eSecurity is only available to eircom broadband customers. Once you have subscribed to the service and downloaded the software, eSecurity runs in the background on your PC. It only needs to access the web to receive updates on viruses and hacking codes. It will do this whenever you connect to the Internet, but requires very little bandwidth to do so and it will normally perform this task without interfering with your PC activity.
