Bugtracker began as an application very similar to Bugzilla, used to manage the Mozilla Project (www.mozilla.org). There were many improvements to the bugzilla code that we proposed and rather than modify the existing code, we started from scratch. It is a multi-project multi-user system that, via emails, tickets, comments, resolutions, priorities, and severities efficiently manages a project.
