Effisoy does not contain any wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, salt or preservatives, but does contain fermented soy bean germ extract. Because the soy germ is fermented, the process breaks down the soy protein, which is the main contributor of allergic reactions. Furthermore, any soy proteins left are then removed during the 2nd phase of processing, the extraction. Therefore, Effisoy should not cause any allergic reactions.
