I don’t think it’s meant to smell like Edward Cullen – the ‘forbidden fruit’ hints that it’s meant to be Bella’s blood (excuse me while I groan) and it’s red. Also, Edward comments in Twilight that Bella’s blood smells like lavender and freesia.
