Secondly, education plays into the level of risk there is for an individual to become a criminal. It’s undeniable that less educated people are more likely to commit crimes. So, if you combine the two – blacks have a lower high school graduation rate and are more apt to be racially profiled – you have blacks more often committing crimes or being targeted by the police and arrested. It’s sad but true.
