Does ECOS provide stipends for students?
The Department is well-supported by the University. More than $900,000 in state funds for research equipment has helped our faculty attract over $5,000,000 in competitive research contracts and grants. The University also provides support for our graduate students. Graduate students are eligible to receive tuition waivers and stipends during the academic year, with summer assistantships providing additional funding. The summer stipend may be increased for work related to grants and contracts secured by the Department’s faculty.
