No, eConnect does not carry an external connector license. However, in documentation found here (the SLT’s “User Type Quick Reference”) the developer toolkit (of which eConnect is a part), was described as if it carried an “external connector” license attached to it. Therefore, we have announced that customers having purchased eConnect prior to April 30, 2010 will automatically receive the external connector at no charge upon upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010.
