No, Easy Wi-Fi will not function if your Windows XP notebook PC uses Intel PROSet to manage Wi-Fi connections. If your notebook is using Intel PROSet you’ll need to disable it and turn on the native Windows Zero Configuration Wi-Fi manager. To do so open up Network Connections from the Start Menu or Control Panel, right-click on Wireless Network Connection, select Properties, select the Wireless Networks tab on the pop-up window, and tick the box to “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings”.
