In general: NO. In particular: SOMETIMES 😉 dvd2xbox renames files which doesn’t fit to the fatx convention in order to have them on the disk rather than loosing it. There’re ACL files for some games which patch the default.xbe to use the shortened filename but this is not the rule. Ask in forums like X-S if unsure.
