Does DualDesk work with the Windows XP Personal Firewall?

0

Yes! The DualDesk customer module (server) automatically configures the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) to allow the server to connect to the remote technician without disabling it’s firewall protection with no prompts or input required by the technician or the customer. This is important since the built-in firewall component of Windows XP is turned on by default by the Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). The original firewall configuration is automatically restored with no input required by the technician or the customer when the session is ended and the customer’s system is never exposed to the internet without firewall protection. This is just one of the many industry firsts DualDesk offers.
