DTM for iSeries does not offer support for text profiles. However, it is recommended to work around this issue by copying an existing (empty) document, instead of creating a blank new one. So instead of doing a CRTDOC DOC(newdoc) TXTPRF(profile) we suggest to do a CPYDOC FROMDOC(profile) TODOC(newdoc) followed by an EDTDOC DOC(newdoc). It basically provides the same functionality as using textprofiles in OV/400. In fact copying a document even allows you to have a default content, something which is not possible in OV/400.
