Does DSSO maintain a testing center where a student with a disability can have exams proctored? How are exams/quizzes administered at DSSO?
Yes, the Testing Center is located in room 106 Union East. DSSO will adhere to and maintain the integrity and security of an exam. Students are monitored during exam by cameras and DSSO staff. ANY STUDENT SUSPECTED OF ACADEMIC DISHONESTY IS REPORTED TO THE OFFICE OF STUDENT LIFE AND HIS/HER PROFESSOR IMMEDIATELY. Only items that have been approved by the professor on the proctoring sheet will be allowed into the testing area. BACKPACKS, FANNY PACKS, CELL PHONES, PAGERS, iPODS, DISC PLAYERS, OR OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE TESTING AREA.
