I read the Fit Sport will have cruise control, but the Base model says it has a drive-by-wire throttle system. Then I read the following about the Pilot DBW and it made me wonder if the drive-by-wire throttle system automatically provides cruise control. Here is the quote: “The more powerful engine is coupled with an innovative drive-by-wire throttle system, which reduces overall weight by incorporating the cruise control function, and helps to reduce shift shock by communicating with the transmission during up and down shifts. The Pilot DBW system replaces a conventional throttle cable arrangement with an all-electronic system that senses the accelerator pedal position and relays that information to a computer.
