Does drinking water increase metabolism?

0

It doesn’t really increase metabolism, but it can boost it or jump start it when the first thing you drink after sleeping is a cold glass of water. (colder then 40 degrees) That will jump start your system because that multi system function known as metabolism has to fire up and warm that water for the body to use it properly. Other then that the water quantity you drink during the day acts as a constant stabilizer for that process and is needed for proper transporting nutrients across a cell membrane. So to increase, not much. To assist and stabilize, yes.
