Does drinking more cause one to sweat more?

No matter how much liquids you drank, it would have little effect on your sweat rate. I am talking about the sedentary joe, at a comfortable 70 degrees F here. However, if you exercise, you need more liquids – and your body will overheat faster, causing you to sweat to cool yourself off- and causing you to need more liquids. If you are well hydrated, this should be no problem. Sweating has a lot to do with the individual, though: I remember a buddy of mine in the Marines whose forehead would be barely damp after a run, wheras I looked like I took a shower in my clothes. 🙂 Sweat Rate has more to do with temperature regulation than amount of liquids consumed.
