Does Dr. Craig make house calls?
Yes, Dr. Craig will do house calls on a case by case basis. For safety reasons, she makes house calls for referred patients only. An additional fee of $50.00 will be added for travel time and fuel. Is acupuncture painful? The placement of the acupuncture needles is usually not felt by the patient. There are some points that do initiate a response. The more nervous patients tend to feel the needle placement more. Do I have to assist Dr. Craig? Yes, the client is expected to help hold the pet while the needles are being placed and to help prevent the pet from from removing the needles. How soon should I expect my pet to respond to the acupuncture sessions? The response to the acupuncture treatment and/or herbs is based upon many variables. The most important is the pet’s individual condition. If the health problems have been chronic, the patient is not expected to show response for at least three to four treatments.
