Does DownloadStudio URL Sniffer slow down my computer or internet connection?
DownloadStudio URL Sniffer uses WinPcap (http://www.winpcap.org), a Windows Packet Capture Library that is widely used by many applications and computer users around the world. When DownloadStudio URL Sniffer is not running, the impact on your computer system is non-existent (i.e. it does not affect your computer’s performance, internet connection or network traffic). When you have started sniffing, it will affect performance as it watches all network traffic and collects URLs. Typically though, you will not notice any performance penalty. After you have captured the URLs that you want, make sure you stop sniffing and your performance will return to its optimal state.
