Does distance education jeopardize teacher jobs?
No. The history of JEDI clearly demonstrates that it creates more teaching opportunities for teachers. By removing the distance barrier, schools can consolidate enough students to provide a full class for a course that would not otherwise be available. Sometimes new teaching positions are created, and part-time teaching jobs can become full-time, thanks to JEDI.
