Oracle Discoverer is the only product on the market that provides an “out of the box” business intelligence solution for the Oracle e-Business Suite. This solution includes Discoverer features that specifically leverage e-Business Suite technology including support for Oracle e-Business Suite security, flexfields and more. In Discoverer, multiple schema awareness has been introduced to support multiple currency (MRC) and multiple sets of books (MSOB) installations. In these installations, there may be more than one e-Business Suite schema with identical structures owned by different users. During the Discoverer login process, Discoverer is connected to the appropriate schema depending on the user’s user-id and responsibility combination ensuring that it can run in any of the Applications schemas that the user could be connected to.
