Does Discoverer support Oracle Single Sign On (SSO) Server?
Yes. Discoverer is a partner application of OracleAS Single Sign-On, providing Discoverer users with the convenience of single logins, obviating the need to enter a username and password for each application they access, provides increased security, and reduces administrative costs. No longer do users have to remember countless IDs, passwords, and database connections as they move from application to application. Discoverer also leverages OracleAS Single Sign on within the application to support the ability to detect and change expired database passwords.
