Does DirectSOFT write to non-volatile (Flash ROM) when using Data View, Change Value and Memory Editor?

Not on purpose. In other words, it is not a function of which tool you use (Data View VS Change Value VS Memory Editor), it is rather a function of the protocol (K-sequence VS DirectNET) of the link in DirectSOFT that is being used to write to the memory location. DirectSOFT just performs a “write to memory” operation and is unaware that it goes to RAM and/or to both Flash ROM and RAM.
