Does DecoMark have indents in the surface of the material?
Yes. Heat the material until the indents in the surface close. The closing of these indents provide a visual cue that the material has reached a molten state and proper embedment of the skid-resistant corundum has been achieved. Consequently, all seams should be closed without visible gaps between the adjacent connecting colors as a result of the material flowing together. It is also imperative that you perform the chisel test to confirm proper bond.
