Does declaring the Consumer Psychology Minor potentially affect the total number of c.u.s Ill need to graduate?
Yes. Remember that SAS requires that you take 16 courses in the College beyond those in your Major. Let’s say that you’re a BBB Major. You must complete 18.5 c.u. for the Major, 16 (non-Major) SAS c.u.’s, and 4 c.u.’s from Wharton to complete the Minor. The impact of this will depend on the number of c.u.’s required for your Major. If you think this might an issue for you, please note that it is possible to petition to have some of your non-college courses count toward the 16 c.u. SAS requirement, though, as with any petition, there is no guarantee.
