Yes. Cypress Heights is involved in sports leagues for soccer, basketball and football and baseball. Cypress Heights has a strong virtue-based sports program and implements a nationally recognized program called SportsLeader, which is a virtue-based formation program centered on developing authentic leadership qualities in coaches and athletes. We have progressive plans to become even more competitive yet virtue-based and have already proven our competitive and virtue-based spirit. For example, in 2007-08, our boys middle school basketball won the Championship after only 3 years in the league and during the fall 2010, the 5th/6th grade football team won the Superbowl Championship. Further, our 2010-2011 5th grade basketball team won 3rd place overall in the St. Jude sponsored CYO tournament. See the master plan for our progressive sport’s field developments.
