Does CTP cover injured drivers who are at fault?

0

CTP insurance provides cover up to $5,000 for injuries sustained by the driver who causes an accident. This cover is limited to treatment expenses and loss of earnings suffered within 6 months of the motor vehicle accident. Cover is also available for the driver causing an accident, under the Lifetime Care and Support (LTCS) Scheme. The support available under the LTCS scheme is limited to people who have a spinal cord injury, moderate to severe brain injury, multiple amputations, severe burns or will be blind as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The LTCS scheme does not provide a lump sum payout. More information about LTCS. GIO Green Slip insurance also comes with extra protection for eligible at fault drivers as part of their Driver Cover Plus policy.
