Yes, CryptoMite distinguishes between upper and lower case of passwords. It is required that you enter the password used to encrypt and decrypt a file in exactly the same format! If a warning is issued that CAPS LOCK is activated, this indicates the key for automatic upper case writing was pressed. On most standard keyboards, the CAPS LOCK key is located two keys above the ‘CTRL’ key, directly to the left of the ‘A’ key.
