Does cryogenic freezing work for humans?

Like another person mentioned, it’s the rate of freezing that is the problem. I did read an account of a girl who fell through some ice whilst on a trip to the North Pole, she fell in head first and was pronounced dead at the scene. As they moved her to the hospital and layed her out for an autopsy she started to thaw out and a pulse was found, she went on to life, I’m not sure if there were any long term effects though, like brain damage for example. So you could say it works in the short term but it would be a very dangerous procedure if you were to get frozen when alive as to remain lifing when unfrozen, it would most certainly be very painful and problems would probably occur, such as burning of limbs (you can burn/destroy tissue using dry ice) or interal organs being frozen too quickly. Even if you were successfully frozen, “reheating” the body would most certaintly cause the cells to crack. It definatley needs more research. P.
