Does Cris Carter think D. Hall is stealing money?
Chatting here, now. Continuing their media saturation campaign, the Redskins managed to grab a segment during ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown this week, when Cris Carter decided to spotlight poor tackling by DeAngelo Hall. “Week number one, Mario Manningham, watch DeAngelo Hall right here, misses him, Manningham scores a touchdown,” Carter said, showing a clip of the above play. “Week number five against the Panthers, fourth quarter, a minute to go, Jake Delhomme stiff-arms you, gets the first down! Now this offseason [Hall] got a 6-year, $54-million contract. And right here, last weekend against Dwayne Bowe, two-hand touch again,” Carter continued, referencing the play below, captured by The Post’s Toni L. Sandys. “If you’re gonna take the money, get a mask!” Carter concluded. “C’mon, man!” The segment, of course, is called “C’mon, man!” and the implication seems to be that Hall is stealing money. Not sure I’d agree, but this certainly is the time for the national media to pile on. Ever
