Does covering cuts with band-aids make the cut scar less?
I have found that using an antibiotic ointment, such as Polysporin, will help reduce scarring and speed healing. But if the cut is deep enough, there will be a scar. There are ways, however, to remove scars . . . and they involve “burnishing” the scar with an abrasive until it more or less disappears.
