Does coughs effect baby while am pregnant….?
I’m also pregnant at almost 16 weeks. And this is the second time I’ve gotten sick and had a cough. I didn’t take anything for the cough the first time other than Tylenol, which my MD said was OK. This time around the coughing is worse where it kept me up all night and I couldn’t sleep. You can take Robitussin DM (they have non-alchohol, which I told my husband to get). My MD gave me a list of meds I could take while pregnant and Robitussin DM and Tylenol are on that list. I had to take the Robitussin DM because the coughing was making me miserable and I don’t want to be sick for long. The cough is better now. If you’re still in doubt, call your MD.
