Does Corus trade in emission allowances or carbon credits?
We are inside the Emission Trading Scheme and we are a compliance player; that means we have to comply and match our emissions to our allowances in order to carry on operating. We are not a trader as such. In the first phase, we were a seller of allowances. Now, in the second phase, we expect to be carbon neutral. In the third phase, we expect to be a buyer because the whole phase will be much stricter and there will be less allowances going forward.
