Does Corus have a charitable donations policy?
Corus Entertainment, through its numerous radio stations, television networks and other companies, supports many worthwhile causes across Canada both in terms of monetary support and Public Service Announcements. The primary focus of our corporate giving strategy is: • Improving the lives of Canadian children by supporting programs that encourage childhood development through play, physical activity, arts and entertainment. • Improving the lives of Canadian women and their families by supporting programs and initiatives that offer training, skills development and tools that enhance the economic and personal independence of women. Our goal is to closely align our charitable giving to our business plan and whenever possible, we prefer to support organizations with national scope. We give preference to Canadian registered charities that have been in existence for at least five years, have a Board of Directors, and are audited. All requests must be accompanied by a charitable registration
