Does Corning have a GED program?
Students may work toward a general equivalency diploma (GED) while taking Corning Community College classes; however, CCC does not offer a GED program. Non-graduates (high school) who are accepted at CCC through Ability-to-Benefit testing may pursue their high school equivalency diploma by successfully completing 24 credit hours of specific college coursework. Students may then request that a Corning Community College transcript be sent to the State Education Department in Albany where a GED is issued.
