Does continous Adultry – Fornication build regrets in life?

I’ve been married for 40 years. In my day you fell in love and got married. Today the morals of the young are changing. Not for the better in my view but who is to say I am right. Adultery can be viewed as sinful but occasionally it happens and it can be a regretful thing to have done. It really depends on the person how they handle it. Life without marriage isn’t sinful in anyway. It’s love that’s important. There is a shortage of love throughout the world and I reckon God would look on anybody with favour if they had love in their hearts. In the greater world of God I don’t believe he would hold that against you if you were filled with regret. We all sin at times and I think God would turn a blind eye to that. There are sinners amongst us who commit vile crimes and whatever punishment they receive it is not enough, but adultery is way down the scale to me.
