Does constant velocity mean that 0 Joules of work is produced?
It is actually not quite self-explanatory. Work is defined as force *distance where the force acts in the direction of the displacement. Therefore if velocity is constant that means that acceleration must be zero. If acceleration is zero then force is 0 based on the definition of force as mass * acceleration. So in some nonexistent universe where something is moving at a constant velocity in a vacuum work is indeed not done. But if the velocity is constant because the force of friction is equivalent to the applied force then you are doing work against friction, although your net work remains zero.
