Does Computers Online carry anything that is not in the paper section?
YES, since space on an online publication is virtually unlimited (our Sun Netra i Internet server has several spare gigabytes of hard disk space). We run features for which there is no room in the paper, such as the archive, some extra columns and buyer’s guides. The guides are there because readers regularly ask us what they should look for when buying various types of hardware and software. We now have some of this information permanently on Computers Online. Some computer recruitment ads and trader classifieds are also re-published online. The advertising rates for the paper sections are also available. You can also get to see mugshots of the people which put the electronic edition together. They are under the SMH Staff icon, and you can communicate with each via the e-mail function.
