Yeast, as such, is not used as an ingredient in any variety of Complan, but the Chicken and Vegetable Flavours do contain significant amounts of yeast extract. The Chicken and Vegetable Flavours have not yet been analysed for tyramine levels, and so are best avoided by anyone taking MAOI medication, for the time being. All other flavours contain only trace quantities of tyramine, and are therefore safe for use.
