Yes it does by default. The CompactDrive PD7X has two different firmware: one supports FAT12/16 and the other supports FAT16/32. By default, all CompactDrives we are selling here have the latest firmware (as of Sep 27, 2004) installed. And they are compatible with FAT32 memory cards, such as 4GB CompactFlash cards and 4GB MicroDrives.
