Does Colossians 1:15 teach that Jesus was created?
In this passage, Jesus is called the “first-born” of all creation. This does not mean that Jesus is a part of creation. To this statement, Jehovah’s witnesses may level the charge that we are not taking the Bible to mean what it says. That is not the case; in fact the opposite is true — the Jehovah’s witnesses are not taking the Bible to mean what it says.
