Does Collin require students to take the TOEFL test?
Only F1/F2 students are required to take the TOEFL. Students who make 525 or higher on the TOEFL (computerized: TOEFL score of 197) may enter the college without taking the ESL Assessment, but they must take the TSI Test before enrollment into a credit class. Students who have a 425-524 on the TOEFL (computerized: TOEFL score of 113-193) may be admitted conditionally into the college and are required to take the ESL Assessment and follow the course plan assigned to them.
