Does Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy really help anxiety?

Yeah, it does. My wife utilized a little bit of dialectical behavior therapy, which is very CBT and it helped her with her anxiety. A lot of what anxiety is is irrational thoughts. CBT, especially DBT, can help people get centered in the moment and to focus. It can also help with relaxation rituals, like not being in the bedroom until you are ready for bed, that way you don’t bring your anxiety there, which will help one fall asleep. My wife does that, she likes it a lot. Medication helps a lot too.
