Does Coca-Cola Great Britain support any particular charities or community projects?
Coca-Cola Great Britain is an active member of the community. Our drinks have always been popular with young people, especially teenagers, so we aim to return the compliment by making a positive difference to their lives. We support education programmes and encourage active lifestyles, in order to help teenagers achieve their personal best. For example, as part of our commitment to educating young people about business and enterprise, we’ve established Education Centres at our major manufacturing sites. Coca-Cola has also enjoyed a 30-year relationship with the Special Olympics in Great Britain. Through the Coca-Cola Youth Foundation’s annual funding, we provide vital running costs for the charity. But our work goes further than that. We are supporting the charity in their bid to raise £1million by encouraging members on our loyalty website Coke Zone* to donate points to the charity, which can be turned into extra cash for athletics equipment.
