i think cloud love tifa and aeris but his affection to tifa is greater because he had a crush on her since they were young as they say first love never dies. he also loved aeris but not much as he loved tifa, aeris is like a sister to him. when aeris died he only felt guilt because he think that aeris is his responsibility because she’s one of his best friend. he doesn’t want to let tifa fight with him because he doesn’t want tifa to get hurt or worse die because he lost 2 friends aeris and zack, if tifa dies then he’ll regret that he let her die for the rest of his life… I’m a certified and big fan of the FFVII.
