Does Citrix SecureICA defend against man-in-the-middle attacks?

Citrix SecureICA is not intended to defend against man-in-the-middle attacks. Man-in-the-middle attacks are active attacks. Citrix SecureICA defends against passive (snooping) attacks. This is by design. Citrix SecureICA was developed as an encryption solution for MetaFrame 1.X product versions. It is supported for backwards compatibility in MetaFrame XP and is intended to provide encryption for the ICA protocol over internal trusted or semi-trusted networks.
