The ECL in the CIS benchmarks will NOT be converted to OVAL, but the CIS-CAT tool’s enhanced OVAL engine will enable it to support RHEL, OSX and RHEL OVAL files distributed from other sources, such as NIST and the vendors of the operating systems.
