Does CIEE offer any payment plans other than the Financial Aid Deferral plan, so I can split my payments up over the course of the semester?
Yes the CIEE Standard Payment Plan is available for semester-long programs. (This payment plan option is not available for summer or January term programs. Year-long students interested in the Standard Payment Plan will need to submit two different forms, one for each semester of the year abroad.) This Payment Plan allows students to split their bills so that 50% of the balance is due by the original due date on the bill, the next 25% is due on either Nov. 1 (for fall) or March 15 (for spring), and the final 25% is due on Dec. 15 (for fall) or May 1 (for spring). There is a $100 administrative fee for this option, due upon completion and submission of the Standard Payment Plan form. The form and $100 Payment Plan fee must be submitted before the plan will be approved.
