Does CIBA do any loss control?
Yes, when CIBA performs the on-site inspection, they will note any safety concerns and they will make recommendations on how to better protect the property from both Property & Liability losses. Recommendations will be assigned a mandatory or advisory rating. Failure to comply with mandatory recommendations will result in non-renewal the following term and/or mid-term cancellations depending on the seriousness of the recommendation. Compliance and/or failure to comply can affect the renewal rates, deductibles and terms of the coverage. CIBA views pro-active owners as members in good standing, eligible for additional credits when available.
