Yes, you can perform searches within the HTML pages of a Web site. CI-Link includes an HTML search engine in the form of two classes. SearchEngine implements the analysis of the search phrase entered by the user, then performs the search in the tree of the site and returns a list of SearchOccurence. Each instance of SearchOcurence describes an occurrence found with the following information: the HTML title of the page, its physical access path, the link required to access it (in order to build an tag in the page), as well as a sample of text in which the word(s) searched are to be found. Each instance of SearchOccurence also describes the relevance level of the found element compared to other found elements. SearchOccurence instances are sorted by decreasing order of pertinence.
